Verified ownerBought in May. It’s now September and I still have some. Will buy more for winter. I do have a small flock of chickens (currently have 5, but 7 was the most I had.) I used it in the brooder for month old chicks. I went through the most hemp from the brooder because chicks kept spilling water and I had a big waterer that had a failed seal. Now, they are outside and I use it in the small TSC producers pride sentinel coop & nesting boxes. I really like it. Eggs are clean. Some of the chickens sleep in the one nesting box (lower than the roost) so it must be cozy to them. I’ve been considering using it for the run for winter to keep their feet dry and warm since it’s a good insulator.
